Eyelashes – 4 Simple Steps on How to Apply False Eyelashes
For most ladies putting on false eyelash perfectly, it can be a nightmare without having the eyelash bands lift up at the tear ducts or/, and they fall off before the end of the party. Poorly applied false eyelashes can look terribly fake, heavy, and embarrassing. So, you ladies should master the applying technique of false eyelashes to the best possible chic and glamorous look.
The eyelashes don’t have any lash glue, so you’ll need some eyelash adhesive to put them. This is uncommon as most cosmetics retailers don’t include glue with their false eyelashes, but it would have been very convenient if they did.
Meanwhile, Mikkelsen, who recently appeared as Miss Fame on RuPaul’s Drag Race television shows and who is also a famed drag personality, showed us how to apply false eyelashes using as few tools as possible. According to Mikkelsen, all you need is mascara, a fresh set of eyelashes, and some black DUO eyelash adhesive.
DUO is one the sought after eyelash adhesive brands now, and any makeup artist will tell you eyelash glue is equally as important. DUO’s ingredients are safe, gentle, and provide reliable eyelash support. You can use a single tube many times as you only need a little.
So, here’s how you can apply false eyelash that looks real:
Step 1: Apply Mascara On Your Natural Lashes
Curl your real eyelashes and comb on a coat of mascara. It will strengthen your natural lashes to support the weight of the false lashes.
Step 2: Trim The False Lashes To Fit
Cut the false eyelash down to the center to make a big individual lash. This makes it easier to place the false eyelash band than a full untrimmed one, as it can become asymmetrical and wobbly.
Step 3: Apply Adhesive
One by one, trace each false lash band with a super-thin line of Due Eyelash Adhesive and wait for the adhesive to dry for a few seconds.
Step 4: Put The Eyelashes On Using Your Fingers
Finally, put the false eyelashes on using your fingers. Don’t use tweezers. Start by placing the outer corner of the eyelash first, and apply a little pressure on it. Mikkelsen suggests putting the outer extension just a bit higher than the natural lash line for a dashing eye-lifting effect. Now, while placing the inner lash, remember not to set the lash close to your tear ducts. This will give more width to your eyes. If you put the inner extensions of the false eyelashes close to the tear ducts, your eyes will appear narrower and even cross-eyed.
